Home Strech

After 12 hours we have 4 hours to go. Those 12 hours have contained breakfast, lunch, and an hour of traffic. The group is fading fast and our food supply is low. We are starting to understand how it feels to be on a deserted island.

It's the last night of sharing highs and lows in Virginia. The youth group seems to be closer than ever... Especially on Danielle and Remy's couch!

Community

As the week continues, we continue to explore the meaning of the word community and an open home. Yet another family and home welcomed us into their home for a lovely dinner and a fun filled night. Almost everyone took a turn at cornhole and chilled on the swing. As the night continues so does the fun and the spirit of community love.

Community

In order to try to understand what CHAT means when they say it is important to live in the community, we have been having dinner in different people's homes. Tuesday, Erica Whiting welcomed us, cooked dinner for us, played games with us, and then joined our time of highs and lows. It has been a huge blessing to see these interactions take place during the week.

Monday!

Today we were able to see some sights in Richmond, play some intense uno, tutor with CHAT and enjoy an evening of food and fellowship.
